Creative Cooking Classes for Kids
At The Learning Gourmet, the kids literally do it all, from measuring, mixing, and rolling, to garnishing, decorating, and packaging their unique and delicious creations.
Our “hands-on” classes and workshops provide unique opportunities for kids to express their creativity, make friends and learn many important educational and life skills along the way. At the Learning Gourmet, girls and boys learn-by-doing, and are encouraged to explore their imaginations while learning basic cooking skills, good nutrition, manners and proper etiquette. Most of all, they make new friends and gain a sense of accomplishment and pride in their many tasty creations...and they get to eat it all too!

All first time students receive a FREE TLG Culinary Kit to keep. TLG Kid's Cooking Sets include a branded embroidered kids chef apron, an individual food preparation station, large measuring cup filled with a full suite of kids cooking utensils, a personal recipe box, and more...all compliments of The Learning Gourmet.

As always, our menu will be completely new and different for this session , or as Rachel Ray would say - No Repeats!
The cost for our 4-week summer proagram is $100 plus $25 consumables fee.
All classes ar hosted at the Winthrop Senior Center, located at 35 Harvard Street, Winthrop, MA (just behind White Hen Pantry).
Winthrop, MA is located just 7 miles from downtown Boston and is convenient to families living on both the North Shore (take Route 1A South to Route 145) and South Shore (take the Ted Williams tunnel to Route 1A North to Route 145) of Boston.
